Had a bit of time for a life evaluation now all the kids are back at school - summer feels like 24/7 work at times. Result? Back to the kitchen and cooking some more vegany greatness. Every day another plant-based option disappears or closes. Think we need to crack on.

The pilgrimage home starts today following a great week in Christchurch touring all the New Forest vegan hotspots. We had a cracking time, as did the littlest one on her first visit to see the old trees.
First attempt at a vegan pad thai was a wonderful success #veganfood
Enjoying a great day out at the Moors Valley Country Park & Forest with a (vegan, obviously) butterscotch ice cream
X this week has hit a new bottom. A man setting himself on fire, a family falling from a cliff, and footage of the car that killed seven people. I understand some wish to see such things, but it’s pretty unavoidable to not do so on the platform.
Think the next life aim is to move to The New Forest
England has everything. I think it’s often easy to get carried away with what algorithms throw at you, when really it’s a land of opportunity and natural beauty. Yeah, somethings aren’t perfect, but it’s a long way ahead of most.
There is something wet falling from the Yorkshire sky and I have forgotten what it is called
Vegan sushi attempt 2 Cucumber roll, avocado and mayo roll, avocado, pepper, sriracha mayo and white and black sesame seed California roll, and selection of nigiri for the kids that turn their nose up at seaweed Great success
First attempt at sushi (vegan, obvs) was a huge success with the kids Room for improvement, as expected, but not a rice grain remained We go again today

I’m ready for the football season to start again.
Put some real effort into growing things this year; bought new planters, best organic peat free soil, good seeds, seed boxes Everything going well. Manually keeping bugs at bay Then the dog ate all the veg

Love being lucky enough to have children. Hate the one gets sick, everyone gets sick dynamic that rips through the house at the most awkward of times
Completed a 240milesish charity ride over the weekend How and why anyone spends excessive amounts of time riding bicycles on roads with cars bezzing past at 60mph baffle me Sticking to trails and bicycle paths from now on
Walkings a much nicer experience without the crowds that appear on a hot day. Give me rainy walks every time. Emley Moor Mast, Huddersfield.

I’ve ruined my own life by reading Mark Boyle’s _The Way Home. _. At times, I felt as though I was reading words spoken aloud my own mind. As doing nothing helps nature heal, maybe the rewilding of oneself involves first removing the unnecessary and seeing what happens
A day at Lythum before the heat picks up again
Love Yorkshire. Love home.
Nothing says ‘Bank holiday" like one of the kids being up from 4am. Coffee in the garden it is then
It just shows that when you commit to something you believe in ‘the mysterious one’ backs you up a little and rewards those actions. Usually not any more than you need, just barely enough.
Will report back. Using it as a PED before a game of Articulate
Expected the Wuthering Heights film to be more late 1700s Yorkshire than the smut-driven cracker that it is, but I dig it
Have been plant based for close to two years now, and finally gotten ill. Considering the amount of children we have at home, it’s nothing short of a miracle. Sick less, recover quicker. Another string to the ethical bow.
After six long years, my original podcast has taken it’s first payment from Youtube revenue. Only taken 115 episodes!
Unsubscribing from emailing lists Delightfully satisfying
I think, therefore I think too much
Enjoying the work done in the garden over the weekend
England in the sun is second to none.
This has been a long time coming We all the ability to be free. We don’t have to scroll endlessly through algorithms that eat your attention. Like weeding a patio, we have to to tend to ourselves and look after our beings. As someone once said, you can only move forward as you cannot go back
